Volunteer at Festival of Trees

Festival of Trees runs four days, and it takes a small army of neighbors to make it happen. If you can give a few hours, we would love to have you.

Every December the Deschutes County Fairgrounds fills up with decorated trees, families, and the kind of happy noise that only happens when a whole community turns out at once. It is the largest fundraiser we hold all year, and what it raises goes straight back into hospice care, grief support, and Camp Sunrise for Central Oregon families.

None of it happens without volunteers. Whether you can give one shift or all four days, there is a place for you.

How it works

  1. Click the day you are available.
  2. Enter your contact information, then click Next.
  3. You will see the available positions and time frames for that day.
  4. Choose the shift or shifts you would like.
  5. Submit your selections.

That is it. Jody handles the scheduling from there and will be in touch before the Festival with your details.

Volunteering with someone else

Coming with a friend, your family, or a group from work? Have everyone sign up individually so we can match each person to a shift, then let Jody know you would like to be scheduled together.
